In addition, he leads workshops in group techniques for working with youth, on substance abuse, and dual-diagnosis and mental health issues among American Indians, he also provides training for trainers of American Indians.

He is certified to teach counselor skills by National Institute on Drug Abuse Central Regional Support Center in Chicago and has a B.S. in Nursing and a B.A. in Indian Studies.
